Dreamboat Pin-Ups is searching for our 2014 Dreamboat Bombshell Model!
Our models are the ladies that work hard modeling for the studio, helping us to put our ideas into reality. They allow us to indulge our imagination on them before we take those ideas live with the public. They help us create an awesome portfolio! We are looking for a lady to represent us for 2014.
- The Model Search is open to ladies aged 18 and over.
- While you don’t have to reside in the Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Durham areas, you must be willing to travel to our Pontypool Ont studio, for 3 photo sessions. (Please note, travel and accommodation is NOT part of the prize)
- As a Dreamboat Pin-Ups Dreamboat Bombshell Model, you will be expected to provide a minimum of three outfits for each of three separate modeling sessions. They will need to be a mix of dresses, skirts & shirts and lingerie. You will represent the studio and promote us where you can. You will be required to sign a ‘non-compete’ contract, stating that you will not be photographed by any other pin-up photographer within a 250 KM radius of Pontypool Ont for a two year period.
- The Model Search is also open to past, present and future clients of Dreamboat Pin-Ups.
All entries will be reviewed by the Dreamboat Pin-ups team. A maximum of twelve semi-finalists will be invited to the studio for a ‘mini session’. This will be a simple one outfit session and interview. From them, 5 finalists will be chosen for the final round of voting – which will be decided by the public & other photographers. Each of the finalists will have a portrait and bio on our Facebook page and website, and the one with the highest percentage of votes will be the new Dreamboat Pin-Ups “Dreamboat Bombshell”.
Entries will be open from January 13 through Feb 28, 2014. Our 12 semi-finalists will be announced on March 4,2014. All semi-finalist mini-sessions must take place between March 5- April 5, 2014. The 5 finalists photos will be posted and voting will begin no later than April 14, 2014.
GRAND PRIZE
The Grand Prize winner will be the new Dreamboat Pin-Ups “Dreamboat Bombshell”. The lucky lady will receive 3 sessions in a twelve month period each with three outfits. You will also receive 1 fully finished and art worked high resolution file of each outfit (9 images total). The value of the Grand Prize is $597.

- Include with your photo a paragraph or two on why you would like to be our “Dreamboat Bombshell” model.

- Entries must be received before 10:00pm Feb 28,2014 in order to be accepted.
- All decisions on semi-finalists are at the discretion of the Dreamboat Pin-ups team and their assigns.
- We reserve the right to veto anyone from the competition finals if any form of cheating is being employed.

Voting Calculations:
Photos from the 5 finalists will be posted on our Facebook Page, as well as several private photographer forums. The finalist with the highest number of combined votes (based on % of votes per site) will be the winner and our Dreamboat Bombshell for 2014. In the event that our winner is unable to make her sessions, then prize will be awarded to the 2nd place finalist.
